Creating a Productive Morning Routine

Hey there, fellow EAs! As the masterminds behind countless successful days, we know that a productive morning routine is essential for conquering our ever-growing to-do lists. But let's be honest, mornings can be chaotic! Between hitting snooze a few too many times and scrambling to get out the door, finding time for ourselves can feel impossible.


That's why I'm sharing my tried-and-true secrets for creating a morning routine that sets me up for success (without sacrificing those precious moments of sleep!). 😉


  • Early Bird Gets the Worm (But Don't Overdo It!):  I'm not gonna lie, I love my sleep. But I've also learned that waking up even 30 minutes earlier can make a world of difference. It allows me to ease into my day, gather my thoughts, and mentally prepare for the tasks ahead.

  • Plan of Attack: Before diving headfirst into emails and meetings, I take a few minutes to review my schedule and to-do list. This helps me prioritize my tasks and ensures that I'm tackling the most important things first.

  • Brainpower First:  I always start with a task that requires focus and concentration while my energy levels are high. Whether it's responding to emails, drafting a presentation, or strategizing for an upcoming project, I like to get my brainpower flowing early in the day.

  • Move Your Body:  Okay, I know this might sound counterintuitive when you're trying to save time in the mornings, but trust me on this one! Even a short workout or a brisk walk can do wonders for your energy and mood. It's the perfect way to shake off any lingering sleepiness and get your day started on the right foot.

  • Disconnect to Connect:  Before the day's chaos takes over, I make sure to carve out some time for myself. Whether it's reading a few pages of a book, listening to a podcast, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee in peace, disconnecting from the digital world helps me connect with myself and start the day with a clear mind.


By creating a morning routine that prioritizes productivity and personal well-being, you can conquer your day with confidence and focus.
